Floods in Cumbria...
This week has seen record levels of rainfall flooding parts of Cumbria and border regions. More than 1,300 homes were flooded and many left without power or mains water supplies. Cockermouth was one of the worst affected places, where water levels reached 2.5m (8ft 2in), more than 200 people were rescued by emergency services - 50 by RAF helicopters.
