Just longshore driftin!

Thanks to Miss Pook for sending me this video of the boys in 9B and their brilliant attempt to show the process of Longshore drift. Well done to Nathan, Liam, James, Jonny and Dom! Love it!

What types of coastal defences can you see in the image below? Examples of hard or soft engineering?

You can see lots more of these 360° panorama's here and on the 360° website. Many thanks to Noel Jenkins for these fantastic images.

Year 11- Revise Geog on your phone!

This folder contains a GCSE Coasts Revision Quiz - ten simple multiple choice questions, in the form of .jpegs. This folder contains a GCSE Population Revision Quiz. I have just blatantly stolen this resource from another teacher, Victoria Ellis. Thank you! ;)

This folder contains one on rivers that i produced today.

The idea is that you download the pictures to your mobile, and then view them in slideshow mode on your phone. You can then revise Geography whenever you like.

There are various ways of getting the pictures to your phones. I managed to download them by connecting two devices via bluetooth (transfering them from my netbook to my phone).
