GCSE CA: Geographical Investigation

You will soon be starting your Controlled Assessment. Look at the documents below. There is one for each topic of Tourism, Fashion and Sport. You must choose one question only to investigate and so look at the relevant document for the question you want to answer.

The aim of this lesson is to record some sources of information and websites that you come across to help you with your investigation. To help guide your research and for the sorts of things you need to find out, look at the table on the word document you have chosen.

The urban geographies of Brighton...

I decided to take some photos in Brighton, as part of 'rehab' really and to help with 'Theme 2: Settlement and Population' scheme and also the fieldwork focus for Controlled Assessment (OCR B Spec).

In this work there has been a shift from looking at 'patterns' of land use that has developed in Brighton over time, moving away from the more traditional urban land use models, to demonstrating the 'processes' involved with the continuous development of Brighton as an extremely dynamic and complex urban landscape.
